Daddy Van director Charlie Terrell and I really clicked. He engaged Houndstooth to do graphics for a couple Rascal Flatts and Mötley Crüe songs. After he and I met up for the first time, we started dorking out over all sorts of classic and art house movies.
This was my very first C4D project. I learned how to (horribly) extrude objects and thought, "What better imagery for 'Dr. Feelgood' than bumping the sickly green tiles from the album cover?"
David Crumley and I got tech-passes and went down to San Antonio to do a multicam shoot of my work, but we didn't anticipate how the bass would effect the CMOS camera on the audio tech's platform!
